Before I ever sketch the first line for my clients, I start with a mood board: a collection of images, words, spaces, colors, diagrams, and anything else that helps communicate how they want their home to feel. This isn’t about naming your style or selecting specific colors but identifying priorities, themes, and vibes. I return to this document throughout the design process to make sure the final result aligns with the initial vision. Here are a few examples.
